The program was held on 8th of February, 2020. It was organized to celebrate and reward academic excellence and moral distinction. The Theme: EXPANDING THE LEARNING SPACE TO SUSTAIN EXCELLENCE was well handled by the guest speaker, Dr. Thompson Olusegun Ewata, a senior lecturer and Head of Department, Linguistic and Nigeria Languages, The University of Africa, Toru- Orua, Bayelsa State.
This years edition was unique and a sharp contrast to previous editions. Instead of the usual gift items, scholarships were given to most of the awardees. Overall best students got ₦10000; 2nd best got ₦7500 while 3rd best got ₦5000 from various donors that are too numerous to mention here. To crown it all, Andrew Bolaji Omo- Osagie Memorial Adopt-a-student scholarship was given to Miss Agbabiaka Favour, an SS1 student who lost her father in 2019.
Despite the success recorded in this edition, there were pockets of inadequacies in preparation, timing and delivery which we will surely work upon against the next edition.
